How to Join

The best way to learn more about CAP is to attend a meeting. You’ll have a chance to see how meetings are run and what types of activities are available. It would be best to visit all the squadrons that are convenient to you. Each squadron is different, with unique leadership, culture, and volunteer opportunities. Typically you will attend three meetings before completing your membership application.

Step 1

Request a East Bay Cadet Squadron 18 Prospective Member Visit which is held on the third Tuesday of the month.

Step 2

Attend at least three weekly meetings with your parents. When you request a meeting, we will provide you with the meeting details and send you a confirmation email.

Step 3

After your third meeting and proof of age validation, you will complete the online Membership Application, unless you require a special waiver.

The local CAP squadron will give you a membership application or provide you with information on how to apply online
